Philip D. Lambert Ph.D. Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Phil brings expertise in efficient and predictive preclinical drug discovery to VIVOPATH. Phil has held positions at Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, EnVivo Pharmaceuticals, ALS Therapy Development Foundation, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, GSK and Parke Davis. Phil received his Ph.D. from the University of London and was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine. He has more than 30 published articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Walter Lunsmann, M.S., MBA Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Walter brings expertise in pharmaceutical operations and bioanalytical testing to VIVOPATH. Prior to VIVOPATH, Walter led the pharmaceutical operations group at Sirtris Pharmeceuticals. Before that, he held positions as Associate Director of Formulations for Synta Pharmaceuticals and Study Director and Manager of Formulations for Cardinal Health. Walter received his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Stern School of Business.
Margaret (Peggy) Sposato BS., RLATG Group Leader, Pharmacology Peggy brings hands on in vivo expertise along with excellent study and team managment skills to VIVOPATH. Peggy has held positions at Antigen Express, PharmaMar, Phylogix and ViaCell. Peggy received her BS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is a registered laboratory animal technologist.
Barbara L. Smith, DVM, MS, Ph.D, DACVS, DACLAM Consultant Veterinarian Senior Director, Animal Resources Facility Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Barb is an experienced laboratary animal veterinarian who adds her significant expertise to all aspects of the in vivo contract research programs at VIVOPATH. Barb directs the animal program with a primary focus on the highest levels of animal care and welfare.
